Problem Symptom Tables
Engage™ and Inspire™ Consoles
SyMPTOM
No power to console.
No audio; screen does not
turn on.
No backlight;
screen is dark.
Touch Screen is not
accurate.

Unable to receive cable

POSSIBLE CAUSE
No power to base.
Faulty main cable or bad
cable connection.

Arcing between low voltage
input wires and inverter's
high voltage output.

REMEDy
Check that there is power at the outlet, breaker and
switch all OK.
Check +12VDC at Pins 11 and 12 of main cable that goes
to MIB. replace cable if necessary.
Check for power to console.
replace SBC.
replace LCD panel.
route Inverter input wires under the iPod Authentication
pcb (92349).
Test inverter – replace if necessary.
replace SBC.
replace LCD panel.
Calibrate Touch Screen.
replace the Touch Screen.
replace the Touch Screen.
Loosen bezel/touchscreen and push gasket away from
touch screen.
Change setup to proper setting.
Verify signal present.
Replace tuner board.
Change setup to proper setting.
Verify signal present.
Calibrate Touch Screen.
replace Touch Screen.
replace SBC.
Replace tuner.
