THERMALS
Thermal data for convection-cooling with no heatsink assumes a vertical mounting of the drive on a thermally conducting surface.
The narrow side of the heatplate is in contact with the mounting surface and the large side of the heatplate is exposed.
The heatsink data is taken with heatsink fins running vertically. When fan-cooling is used vertical mounting is not necessary to guarantee
thermal performance of the heatsink.
