Già in fase di progettazione si deve pre-
vedere intorno al riduttore lo spazio ne-
cessario per eseguire l'installazione ed i
successivi lavori di manutenzione.
Se il riduttore è dotato di venti-
latore si deve prevedere spazio
adeguato per permettere una
buona circolazione di aria.
Il montaggio deve essere eseguito con
molta accuratezza da personale esper-
to. Durante il montaggio bisogna evita-
re tassativamente qualsiasi urto o for-
zamento, in quanto causa di possibili
danneggiamenti alle parti interne del
riduttore. Danni dovuti a una scorretta
esecuzione escludono ogni nostra re-
sponsabilità.
Colui che è autorizzato ad eseguire que-
ste operazioni dovrà, se necessario,
attuare un "piano di sicurezza" per sal-
vaguardare l'incolumità delle persone
direttamente coinvolte ed applicare in
modo rigoroso tutte le leggi esistenti in
materia.
Per le istruzioni relative all'installazione
di un motoriduttore consultare preventi-
vamente il manuale di uso e installazio-

5 INSTALLATION AND STARTUP
5.1 INSTALLATION
5.1.1 GEAR UNIT
The necessary clearances around the
gear unit for installation and subsequent
maintenance work must be planned dur-
ing the design phase.
If the gear unit is equipped with
a fan adequate space must be
provided to ensure good air cir-
culation.
Installation must be performed with
care by skilled personnel. During the
installation procedure avoid knocking
and forcing since this could cause dam-
age to the internal parts of the gear unit.
We cannot be held liable for damage
caused by incorrect installation.
The person authorised to do the work
must, if necessary, implement a safety
plan to protect the health and safety of
all persons directly involved and apply
all applicable legislation.
Before installing a gearmotor, also refer
to the instructions contained in the in-
stallation and user manual for the elec-
tric motor.
Before installing the unit:
ü Carefully remove all packaging and pro-
tective product residue from the gear unit.
Pay particular attention to the coupling

ü Check that the data on the data plate

5 INSTALLATION
UND INBETRIEBNAHME
5.1 INSTALLATION
5.1.1 GETRIEBE
Bereits in der Projektierungsphase ist
der erforderliche Platzbedarf für die In-
stallation und nachfolgenden Wartungs-
arbeiten am Getriebe einzuplanen.
Ist das Getriebe mit Ventilator
ausgestattet,
chender Raum zur Gewährleis-
tung einer einwandfreien Luftzirkulati-
on berücksichtigt werden.
Nur entsprechend ausgebildetes Fachper-
sonal ist für die sorgfältig auszuführende
Montage zugelassen. Während der Monta-
ge müssen Stöße oder sonstige Kraftein-
wirkungen unbedingt vermieden werden,
da hierbei Schäden an Innenteilen des
Getriebes nicht auszuschließen sind. Für
Schäden infolge unkorrekter Ausführung
übernimmt der Hersteller keinerlei Haftung.
Die für diese Eingriffe autorisierte Per-
son muss, wenn nötig, einen „Sicher-
heitsplan" aufstellen, damit die direkt
in den Vorgang einbezogenen Personen
geschützt und alle diesbezüglich exis-
tierenden Vorschriften rigoros eingehal-
ten werden.
Hinsichtlich der Anleitungen zur Installa-
tion eines Getriebemotors ist zuvor das
Betriebs- und Installationshandbuch des
betreffenden Elektromotors einzusehen.
Vor der Installation:
ü Alle Verpackungsreste und eventu-
ellen Schutzprodukte sorgfältig vom
Getriebe entfernen. Besonders auf die
