After the shade is installed, plug the
solar unit into the motor recharge port.

PROBLEM
Shade will not raise or lower.
Shade runs slowly.
The motor continues to run in
one direction.
Channel Display screen on remote does
not light up.
The distance required to operate shade
with remote becomes shorter.
Shade goes up when down button is
pushed and down when up button is
pushed.
The motor beeps when operated.
Nothing I do seems to work for the
Motivia remote shade.

Recharge motor.

The limit setting was unsuccessful and
needs to be reset.
Replace the battery in the remote
(CR2430).
Replace the battery in the remote
(CR2430).
Press the LIMIT button on the underside
of the remote and the STOP button at the
same time. Hold until the shade jogs &
beeps. The shade should now move in the
correct direction.
The battery power is low. Recharge the
motor.
Unpair the remote from the shade.
Then re-pair the remote and reset upper
and lower limits.
