The KESSEL closure valve is available se-
parately as an accessory or may be already
integrated in a KESSEL Aqualift F lifting sta-
tion for wastewater with or without sewage.
The lifting station should be installed in frost
and weather protected rooms.
The closure valve consists of the following
operational elements (see Illustration 1)

2. General

InIn order for the KESSEL closure valve to
operate properly it should only be connec-
ted to the appropriate KESSEL lifting stati-
on – the appropriate lifting stations are list
in the Installation and Assembly portion of
this manual. If the closure valve is to be
used on different pumps then additional
parts are required. If this is the case the in-
stallation company is responsible for proper
installation of the closure valve.
Excessive force should not be applied to the
closure valve such as using it as a step.
Damage occuring to the closure valve from
impropery installation, operation or use are
not covered under this product's warranty.
