9.5 Installing Monitoring Devices

9.5.1 (Optional) Installing a Camera

Prerequisites


Preparations
Tools: flat-head screwdriver, Phillips screwdriver, step ladder, protective gloves
Materials: camera
Documents: monitoring device installation position diagram, documents delivered with the
camera
Skill requirement: common technician
Procedure
Step 1 Determine the number of cameras to be installed and the installation positions based on the
monitoring device installation position diagram.
Step 2 Take cameras out of the fitting bag.
Step 3 Install the camera based on its position number shown in the monitoring device installation
position diagram.
Step 4 Connect the pre-installed network cables to the cameras.
Step 5 Loosen screws on the camera cover using a screwdriver and remove the cover.
Step 6 Use a Phillips screwdriver to secure the camera body, as shown by (1) in

The camera to be installed has been obtained.
The number of cameras and their installation positions have been specified.
