3-2 Binding Operation

3-2-2 Speed Adjustment

Adjust the conveyor operate time with
conveyor operate time knob.
NOTE
- When the books are delivered on the con-
veyor, the ideal distance between the spine of
one book and that of the next book is 3cm
(1.2") to 5cm (2.0").

Adjust the stitch delay time with stitch
delay time knob.
3.
Turn belt speed adjust knob to adjust the
production speed.
NOTE
- The belt speed on SPF-20A must be faster
than the delivery speed of collator. If slower,
jam will occur on in-feed conveyor on SPF-
20A. However, when HAC, HRC or MC
series collator is combined, the belt speed can
be set to the minimum. When VAC-100 is
combined, the its delivery speed is automati-
cally adjusted according to the SPF-20A belt
speed.
- The following condition is the maximum
speed of collator.
The next sheet hits head stopper
immediately after stopper plate rise
after a sheet is transported.
