2. Setup and Adjustment

2-5 Fold Roller Gap Adjustment

This section shows how to set up fold roller
gap.
1.
Open safety covers 3 and 4.
2.
Open the bypass section.
3.
Set fold roller gap adjust lever according
to the number of sheets to be folded refer-
ring to the chart below.
Number of Sheets
2 to 4
4 to 7
7 to 10
more than 10
NOTE
- The gap position changes depending on the
sheet thickness.
- Adjust fold roller gap adjust levers on both
sides to the same position.
4.
Close the bypass section.
5.
Close safety covers 3 and 4.
