The following figure is for illustration only.
The device provides two AC power receptacles. You can connect one AC power cord to power the
device or two AC power cords for 1+1 redundancy.
To connect an AC power cord:
Install the bail latch.

Connect one end of the AC power cord to the AC power receptacle on the device.
2.
Connect the other end of the AC power cord to the AC power source.
3.
Use the bail latch to secure the power cord into place.

Verifying the installation

Verify the following items before you power on the device:
•
There is enough space around the device for heat dissipation.
•
The interface modules and USB devices are installed correctly.
•
The device, rack, and power source are reliably grounded.
•
The power source is as required by the device.
•
The device is connected correctly to the configuration terminal and other devices. The
configuration terminal is configured correctly and has been started.

Starting the device

WARNING!
Before powering on the device, locate the switch for the power source so that you can cut off power
promptly in case of an emergency.
To start the device:
