Fiber Optic Ethernet Ports
Fiber optic Ethernet ports are available with either MTRJ (Mechanical Transfer Reg-
istered Jack), LC (Lucent Connector), SC (Standard or Subscriber Connector) or ST
(Straight Tip) connectors. Make sure the Transmit (Tx) and Receive (Rx) connections
of each port are properly connected and matched to establish a proper link.

SFP Transceivers
The RUGGEDCOM RSG2100P features two Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP) trans-
ceiver sockets, which are compatible with a wide array of SFP transceivers available
from Siemens.
The following SFP transceivers are compatible with the RUGGEDCOM RSG2100P. For
