Visual inspection

Test

 Check the unit for external damage (damage to cables, hoses, filter and handle).

 Check filter for dirt or a defect.

 Inspect unit, disconnected from the main power supply and with open housing, for internal damage, and leaks.
Close housing again and tighten screws. Re-connect the main power cable.

 Check fuses for correct protection value and melting characteristics.

 Check sign plates and inscriptions for completeness and readability.
6.3

Electrical test

Test

 Measure protective conductor resistance according to VDE 0751 (max. 0.3 Ohm).

 Measure and compare with "first value measured" of unit leakage current according to VDE 0751
(measured during operation).
 The "value measured first" may not be exceeded by more than 50%.

 Document and record the evaluation and tests according to VDE 0751.
6.4 Replacing the filter

 The air filter ( , fig. 2) must be replaced once per year as follows:
• Remove the filter by unscrewing it from the holder (turn the filter to the left).
• Mount the new filter by screwing it into the holder (turn the filter to the right).
