( 4) Re-attach the focusing panel
Fit the focusing panel to the square opening
with 1 cm shift to the right side [I]. Slide
the focusing panel to the left to re-attach it
[2].

3. Cleaning Painted Surfaces or Plastic Parts of the Microscope
• Do not use organic solvents (such as alcohol, ether, thinner and the like) to clean the
painted surfaces, plastic or printed parts of the microscope. It is advisable to use a
silicon cloth to clean these surfaces or parts.
4. Custody of the Microscope, Eyepieces and Objectives
• Keep the microscope in custody in a dry place where mold will not be formed
easily.
• Keep the objectives and eyepieces in a container (such as a desiccator) with a
desiccant in it.
• When keeping the microscope in custody, put a vinyl cover on it to prevent dust.
5. Periodic Inspection
• It is advisable to periodically check up the microscope to best maintain its
performance. Contact your nearest Nikon representative for more details about it.
