Causes
• Electrical contact
points dirty.
• Electrical contact
points dirty.
• DX cables not
connected.
• Film advance mode
switch not properly
set.
• Data mask in the dark
box partially intercepts
optical path.
Actions
• Clean the contact points of the dark box and its
attaching mount on the microscope with a clean, soft
cloth or a tissue paper lightly moistened with alcohol.
• Connect the DX cable from the microscope base to the
control box. Connect the other DX cable from the
microscope base to the dark box.

• Turn the data mask IN/OUT lever to
"OUT"
