(10) EXP (exposure) Key
Touch the EXP key or depress the hand-held switch
connected to the rear of the control box to make
exposure (release the shutter). If the film loaded is
35 mm film, it is automatically advanced for one
frame after the exposure, and the shutter is charged.
The LED on the EXP key is lighted while the shutter
is open. The EXP key does not function while the
hand-held switch is being used.
(11) RST (reset) Key
Touch this key to discontinue the exposure in progress in case of emergency or to reset
the multiple exposure mode. Also touch this key when the exposure time display fails
to indicate "000.00" the moment the power switch is turned on, or when an LED blinks
to indicate "E" (error) on the CHECK display. If "000.00" still fails to appear or if the
LED indicating "E" does not go out, contact your Nikon representative.
(12) Film Advance
• 35 mm dark box
Both the FX-35DX and NFX-35 dark boxes automatically advance the film one
frame after each exposure, charging the shutter.
• Large format (4" x 5") film holder
Since this holder has no automatic film advance function, manually advance the film
one frame after each exposure.
