(3) Optical Path Changeover Levers
Push or pull the three optical path changeover levers to divide the light output as
illustrated below.
See also page 40 on how to change over the optical path.
(4) Filters
• Daylight-type color photomicrography
Set the lamp intensity control dial at 9V, and put NCB 11 filter* in the optical path.
Use appropriate ND filters to adjust the brightness.

The NCBJ I filter is particularly suited for use with standard color fi l m.
Since the color reproduction characteristics of each color film slightly differ depending on its
make, combine color compensation (CC) filters with the NCR filter whenever appropriate to
adjust the resulting color reproduction.
• Monochrome film photomicrography
Remove the NCB 11 filter from the optical path. Put the GIF and other filters of
similar nature in the optical path to enhance the contrast.
