2. Exposure !\lode Table
Epiphot 300 offers various forms of photomicrographic possibilities. Select an appropriate
form that best suits your purpose, the sample's shape or condition. Also refer to "Procedure
for Automatic Exposure Mode Photomicrography" on pages 53 and 54.

Note 1. The DX mode is not set when:
• Film with no DX code is loaded.
• No film is loaded into the dark box.
• The two DX cables are not connected or incorrectly connected.
• While large format photomicrography is being performed.
Note 2. Countup display of exposure time starts again from [000.00] after initial countup
exceeds [999.99].
Note 3. Touch RST key to cancel multiple exposure mode and to reset automatic exposure
mode. This key, when touched during exposure, discontinues exposure and also RST
cancels multiple exposure mode.

• Touch either of ISO keys to set an arbitrary ISO value. - - - - -'

• Exposure time is automatically determined through brightness
measurement right before the shutter opens.
[If necessary, touch either of EXP.ADJ (exposure adjustment)
keys to adjust exposure time]
• Touch EXP (exposure) key.
• Then, countdown display of exposure time starts.
• The shutter closes at [000.00]. ([000.00] shows the end of
countdown.)
• Set TIME or MULTIPLE exposure mode to cancel automatic
exposure mode.
