SAFETY CuSHION ADJuSTmENT

Pulling the adjustment belts (26) on the front side of the safety cushion allows you
to adjust the safety cushion (23). this should be tight but not pressing against the
child´s body.
noTE! the safety cushion offers maximum protection and comfort for your child only
when it has been correctly adjusted. thick winter clothing must not be worn.
to release the adjustment belts (26) press the release buttons of the belt adjusters
(31) and pull out the belt tonguesoof the safety cushion (23).

SECuRING BY mEANS OF THE SAFETY CuSHION

• open the safety cushion (23) locking device on the seat shell (18) by pressing
the release button (27).
noTE! alternatively the safety cushion (23) can be disenganged on one side only
and folded to the other side. this will make it more easier to put your child into the
seat"
after adjusting the headrest (9) and the safety cushion (23), put your child into the
seat shell (18).
• Put the metal tongue (24) of the safety cushion into the corresponding buckle
and make sure that the buckle locks into place with an audible „click".
• Pull on the safety cushion (23) to check whether it has locked into place correctly.
noTE! the buckles must be kept free of dirt and other objects. only clean buckles
lock audibly and securely.

Warning! to ensure the safety of your child (weighing from 9 kg to a
maximum of 18 kg), the safety cushion (23) must be used only in the
forward-facing position.
