Defining a New Translate Table

The following example shows how to define a new translate table that translates
an EBCDIC! character (X'SA') to the ASCII! character (X'21') and vice versa:
1.
Display the User Defined Translate Table Selection screen

TYPE THE 10 TO USE AS A BASE FOR THE TABLE YOU WISH TO DEFINE: 1
VALID IDS ARE:
1 - 37e8 DEFAULT TRANSLATE TABLE
2 - USER DEFINED TRANSLATE TABLE
3 - 3798 ALTERNATE TRANSLATE TABLE
PRESS "ENTER" TO CONTINUE. OR "PF2" TO QUIT
