Send Read Prompt
Type the read prompt that is to appear on the device. If you are using a translation
table, code the characters in the hexadecimal representation for EBCDIC. If you are
using no translation (TRANSLATE
=
0), code the characters in the character codes
for the device. Send Read Prompt is a 20-character field. X

The read prompt contained in the default configuration for display ports is (CRjLF)
ENTER DATA: (CRjLF). Primarily, this is used when running in protocol
enveloping mode (LV type 1 NTO), and it is sent by the 3708 to the device after a
message from the host has been sent to the device.
If defined, the read prompt can also appear at the device in the time between host
selection and actual logon to an application. (If logon screens are excluded for the
port, it can appear before and between host sessions).
Fill this field with zeros to prevent the read prompt from appearing on the screen.
