Overview
General
The rack-mounted device has a modular structure. It consists of a rack-mounted housing and
at least one analyzer module. It may also contain option modules.
Definition of terms
● Rack-mounted housing, basic unit: this includes the metal enclosure with local user
interface, built-in processing unit (PU), and power supply unit. It is prepared for installation
of the analyzer and option modules.
● Rack-mounted device: this includes a rack-mounted housing (basic unit) with at least one
analyzer module (AM) installed.
