• Place the shuttle lock housing (2) with the dummy sleeve (4) and secure
with the screw with the dummy plate (5) (fig. 3).
Note: For trial fitting, slightly grease the thread of the ratchet unit
(3) with 633F11 Silicone Grease.
• Degrease the ratchet unit (3) and the shuttle lock housing, secure it
using 636K13 Loctite and screw it into the shuttle lock housing. Tighten
using 710D4 Torque Wrench. Torque: 20 Nm.
Caution!
Improper tools may damage the ratchet unit or impair its function!
Never use an open-end wrench for unscrewing and retightening.
Use only the tool indicated in the Instructions for Use.
Use the following tools:
• 710D4 Torque Wrench
• the suitable 709S26=1/4"×1/2" adapter piece and
• the S6A20-2 Socket Wrench Kit.
Caution!
Improper tools may damage the push button!
To remove the push button from the ratchet unit, please use a screw
driver with 2 mm tip or a coin of comparable thickness.
Whenever grinding inside the socket, protect the shuttle lock from dirt by
sealing the lock opening with tape or a piece of clean cloth.
Please find further processing instructions in the Technical Information 2.1.6.
Secure the Pin with Loctite 241 (636K13), screw it into the liner's thread
and tighten to 3 Nm (2.2 lbf.ft., 27 lbf.in.) using the 710D1 Torque Wrench
or equivalent.
Caution!
The pretension of the spring influences the rotation of the ratchet unit
during donning the prosthesis. If the spring is removed (no audible
feedback) or the pretension is reduced, the rotation resistance of
the ratchet unit is also reduced.
