The system is returned to VF mode. The system is back in full operation and is ready to be
used as a UPS.

Test: Under load

3.4.2.
This test is designed for standard load bank testing to verify the operation of UPS under load.
To perform the test under load:
1. Turn off all ac and dc CBs and isolate the system.
2. Connect an average or standard load to the system.
3. Turn on ac input CBs and measure the ac input voltage during operation under load.
Take the measurements at the output terminals of UPS (phase-to-phase between L1-L2,
L2-L3, and L3-L1 and phase-to-neutral at L1, L2, and L3).
4. Check and record the total system load (output current) and make sure that the UPS is
not overloaded with respect to system specifications.
5. Verify that the UPS is operating normally and that no alarms or fault indications are
present.

Test: Battery mode or Blackout

3.4.3.
This test is designed to verify the operation of UPS in the event of a blackout, when no ac power
is supplied to the UPS.
To perform this test the system must be in Normal Mode and the battery must be
attached and fully charged.
To perform the battery mode blackout test:
1. Turn OFF all ac input to the system
Turn OFF the ac input switches to both Bypass and Rectifier.
2. Test the voltage at the system output between the phases and the neutral.
It should be within the specified range of 120 Vac ±3%.
3. When complete turn ac input on.
The batteries revert to charging.
