Maintenance bypass for parallel systems

6.2.1.
A maintenance bypass switch can be installed to enable a technician to perform maintenance
work on the parallel UPSs without impacting the supply of power to the loads. The maintenance
bypass switch routes the current around the UPSs, for the safety of the technician.
The optional maintenance bypass switch is shown in the connection schematics for parallel
systems.
The rating of circuit breaker CB12 in the connection schematics must be
appropriate for the number of parallel UPSs.
