Assigning IP Address to the UPS

3.3.6.3.
This procedure assigns an IP address to the UPS. Assigning an IP address allows you, the user, to
remotely monitor The UPS over an IP network.
If you do not intend on remotely monitoring the UPS, you can skip this step. If you
decide to later implement remote monitoring, you can perform this process at that
time.
The UPS supports use of a fixed IP address, and also supports dynamic assignment of
IP addresses (DHCP). Consult your IT systems administrator and determine if your IP network
supports DHCP, and if there is a preference for using either a fixed IP address or a dynamically
assigned IP address for the UPS.
To obtain an IP address automatically:
43. From the System Menu select Setup > Connectivity > Network Configuration.
The IP address configuration screen appears:

To obtain an IP address automatically, your network must support DHCP.
