4.1 Assembly
In comparison to the 2R10 and 2R33 adapters, the dorsal stop is changed
with 2R51 so as to enable an elastic dorsal movement. A Pedilan stop from
the 2S88 Dorsal Stop Set should be used for assembly of the adapter with
single-axis foot with foam cover (1H40, 1H38) (Fig. 2).
The following dorsal stops are available (Fig. 3):
2S88=22–23 Dorsal Stop Set –Pedilan–, 2-part, 1 pcs. each soft and
hard, for 2R51=22–25 in conjunction with the single-axis foot
with foam cover, size 22 and 23 cm
2S88=24–25 idem, for 2R51=22–25 in conjunction with the single-axis
foot with foam cover, size 24 and 25 cm
2S88=26–27 idem, for 2R51=26-27 in conjunction with the single-axis foot
with foam cover, size 26 and 27 cm
The dorsal set stop must be ordered separately as an option.
The initial sluggishness of the joint has no adverse effect on the function.

4.3 Maintenance instructions
Note:
As a basic principle, all Ottobock modular adapters are subjected to tests
involving three million load cycles. Depending on the amputee's activity
this corresponds to a service life of three to five years.
We recommend carrying out regular safety checks once a year.
