Choose a suitable location

Faulty electrical installation may lead

Do not use a multi-socket extension

cable, multi-socket plug, travel adapt-
er or similar.
We recommend using a pulse-sensi-

tive residual current device (RCD).
The planned location must fulfil the following
prerequisites:
– The location must be a dry and frost-safe
room with a firm ground.
– The dishwasher must be positioned be-
neath a full work surface which is joined
together with the cupboards adjacent to the
dishwasher.
– In order to install the connection pipes, the
dishwasher must be positioned near to a
washing/dishwashing basin.
– The measurements of the recess must at
least correspond to the details in the follow-
ing diagram.

Connecting the outlet hose
NOTICE
Potential malfunction!
Waste water must be able to run away
freely at all times.
Ensure that the waste pipe has a di-

ameter of 40 mm.
Ensure that there are no kinks or dam-

age to the outlet hose.
Make sure that the end of the hose is

not submerged in the pumped water.
Do not extend the outlet hose or re-

place with another drainage pipe.

The outlet hose (19) can be fixed in two ways:
– Variant "A": Connection to a floor drain.
– Variant "B": Direct connection to the odour
seal (siphon) of your washing/dishwashing

basin. The outlet hose must be a maximum
of 1000 mm above the floor. Technical

measures must be taken for connection.
For this reason, only plumbing experts or
members of our service team may connect
the outlet hose (see page GB-32).
In an unused outlet manifold, there is
a washer so that no water can run out.
This washer must be replaced by a seal ring
before connecting the outlet hose.
