Many multitabs already contain dishwash-
er detergent, dishwasher salt and rinse aid,
meaning that you do not need to use these
three products separately. In this case, you
can ignore notifications that dishwasher salt
(8) and rinse aid (7) need to be topped up.
If your water is in the "soft" to "medium" hard-
ness range, multitabs will deliver good results.
If it is "hard", we would recommend that you
do not use multitabs and instead use dish-
washer detergent, dishwasher salt and rinse
aid individually.
Determine water hardness and adjust
(see „Adjusting the water hardness" on
page GB-28).

Add dishwasher detergent

Only use dishwasher detergent which is
exclusively intended for dishwashers.
1. Push the closure of the dishwasher deter-
gent compartment (16) to the right. The
cover will open and give access to the
compartment.
2. Place a multitab in the compartment or
add dishwasher detergent in powder for-
mat (you will find details of quantities in
the table on page GB-17).
3. Push the cover of the compartment
closed so that the closure clicks into place
once again.
