6.3 Install the MiSPHERE control box

Installation location for the MiSPHERE control box
When choosing an installation location for the MiSPHERE control box take into account the following points:
• Install the MiSPHERE control box with the output ports downwards in case of an outdoor application.
• Ensure that at least 5 cm of free space is available in front of the fan of the MiSPHERE control box.
• Do not install the MiSPHERE control box inside a closed area. Ensure there is enough fresh air around the MiSPHERE control
box for optimal cooling.
• Place the MiSPHERE control box within the range of the primary cables, which has to be connected with the output ports of
the control box.
• Note that the power and data linking cables between the MiSPHERE control boxes are limited to 5 meter.
• Ensure that there is enough space around the connector sockets of the MiSPHERE control box for easy connecting.
Necessary parts
Doughty clamp or fixings.
How to install the MiSPHERE control box ?
1. Choose an appropriate location for the MiSPHERE control box, see paragraph above.
2. Do you want to use a doughty clamp to install the MiSPHERE control box?
If yes, attach the doughty clamp with the mounting plate of the MiSPHERE control box.

3. Install the MiSPHERE control box either with a doughty clamp or with fixings.

4. Connect the primary cables, coming from the MiSPHERE strings, with the output ports of the MiSPHERE control box.
5. Seal up unused output ports of the MiSPHERE control box using an end cap.
