4.4.4.1
Switch spray on/off ‒ activated chip blower
CAUTION
Instrument can be operated without coolant.
The material to be processed can be damaged by frictional heat.
➢ Always make sure that the treatment area does not overheat
when the coolant has been switched off.
CAUTION
If air and water are taken from an external connection, the flow rate in
the instruments can drop.
The spray is switched on with the instrument when the foot pedal is
activated. The spray is switched on/off via the foot control.
4.4.4.1.1 With a pneumatic foot control
4.4.4.1.1.1 Switching spray ON/OFF
➢ Toggle the switch on the pneumatic foot control.
Ä Left position: spray off
Ä Right position: spray on
The spray is switched on/off when the instrument is activated.
The activation of spray is not displayed on the user interface with a
pneumatic foot control.
The status display Spray is not lit.
4.4.4.1.1.2 Activating the chip blower
With the chip blower, an air jet comes out of the bur nozzle.
ü A high-speed handpiece or motor is removed from the holder.
➢ Press the right button of the pneumatic foot switch.
Ä The chip blower remains switched on as long as the button is
pressed.
