Chapter 6 Maintenance and Inspection

6.1.2 Periodical inspection

Check the following items regularly (about once in every 6 months). Also,
check them when the ambient condition or environment changes.

Be extremely careful when measuring the
WARNING
power supply voltage at the power terminal
part of the module during an inspection.
Otherwise, it may cause an electric shock.
Do not modify, repair, disassemble, or
WARNING
adjust the device, module, or board.
It may cause an electric shock, fire, injury, or failure.
In case of an operation error or failure, contact one of
Toshiba's sales representatives.

Inspection details
Power voltage (measure at the power terminal block of
the module)
Check for looseness of the power terminal screw.
Check for damage of the wiring cable.
Check if the base unit of the controller unit is secured.
Check if the I/O base unit of the TC-net I/O unit is
secured.
Check for looseness of the cable connector and damage
of the cable.
Measure voltage at the I/O terminal block of each I/O
module.
Check the input state display LED.
Check the output state display LED.
Check if the I/O terminal block is secured.
Check for looseness of the terminal screw or risk of
contact with neighboring ones.
Check for damage of the wiring cable.
Check if the temperature, humidity, vibration, dust are
within the specified values.
