Switch Setting of the SA9A1

This section describes how to set the switch in the front of the SA9A1.
 Set the switch that determines the loop address of the SA9A1 module before turning on
the power.

3.1.1 Loop address setting switch (STN-H, STN-L)

Figure 3-1 shows the configuration of the loop address switch.
Table 3-1 shows the setting details.
Switch name
STN-H
STN-L
Setting example: If STN-H is set to 1h and STN-L to Ah, the loop address is 1Ah.
 The loop address can be set from 3 to 22h. If 0 or FFh is set, this module becomes down.
 The remaining addresses are for in-house maintenance. Do not use them.
 Set different values as the loop addresses of the other node connected to the same I/O
loop. If the setting values are the same, it does not function normally.
 The TC-net I/O loop transmission system does not have the loop address overlap
detection function. Therefore, if the same loop address is set in multiple stations, the
SA9A1 may apparently function normally. When constructing the system, ensure that the
loop address does not overlap with the other node.
