Time service module TS811

3.4.1 TS811 function

Unified controller nv series type2 gets automatically the GPS time from Time
Service Modeule TS811. (It is necessary to set controller operation mode to the
RUN after initialization when Time Data invalid status.)
In the case GPS status of TS811 is fix (2D-fix or 3D-fix) and controller operation
mode is Run mode, Unified Controller nv series type2 becomes Time Data valid
status.
In the case TS811 GPS valid, Unified Controller nv series type2 can't set the
calendar from OIS-DS and nV-Tool.
Even if TS811 GPS Fix Status becomes no-fix status, Unified Controller nv
series type2 continues valid of Time Data state. ( It is necessary for a user to
invalidate Time Data.)
In addition, even if there was a change in Unified Controller nv series type2
operation mode, Time Data valid state continues.
Even if Unified Controller nv series type2 detect TS811 minor failure, Unified
Controller nv series type2 continues current operation mode. (Controller does
not error down and duplex switching.)
Therefore, please decide an operation mode of the controller by user program
from status of TS811. (The online side can get the standby side TS811 status
information from system variable ZW[1727].)
When TS811 becomes minor failure when Time Data is valid state, Time Data
becomes invalid and Unified Controller nv series type2 can set the calendar
from OIS-DS and nV-Tool.
