Parking brake adjustment

The adjustment of the hand brake is performed after adjustment of the foot brake. Set the length of the pull
rod (D = 145 mm); the length is measured from the centre of the pins according to the figure. Adjust the fixed
end of the bowden of the hand brake (E) of pedals on the bracket so that the thread protrudes by 30 mm. Lift
up both wheels of the tractor and secure the lever of the hand brake to the fifth claw of the ratchet wheel.
Simultaneously with the helper turning one wheel, tighten the adjusting nut (F) on the bowden of the hand
brake until the wheel stops rotating. After this basic adjustment, check operation of the hand brake and
whether the braking effect of both wheels is sufficient. When the hand brake is unlocked, both wheels must
rotate freely. Asymmetry of braking effects must not be higher than 20%.
When the hand brake is adjusted, check operation and efficiency of the foot brake!
