11 Decommissioning and
removal

11.1 Decommissioning

To decommission the differential pressure
meter before removing it, proceed as fol-
lows:
1. Isolate measuring lines.
Î When a valve block is used:
2. Close the shut-off valves.
3. Open the equalizing valve.
4. Slowly open the screw of the test con-
nection to release the pressure.
5. Disconnect the power supply.
6. Open the housing cover of the differen-
tial pressure meter and disconnect the
wires for the power supply.
11.2 Removing the differential
pressure meter
1. Disconnect the wires for the power sup-
ply from the differential pressure meter.
2. To remove the differential pressure meter,
loosen the fastening screws on the de-
vice.

11.3 Disposal

Î Do not dispose of components, lubricants
and hazardous substances together with
your other household waste.
Î Check whether a battery is inserted in
the differential pressure meter and re-
move it before disposing of the device.
Î Observe local, national and internation-
al refuse regulations before disposing of
the device and its batteries.
