Troubleshooting

Failures can be easily corrected in some cases. Please check the following items.
All Functions
Symptom
All functions are
inoperable (pow-
er indicator is not
on).
Corresponding
operations are
not performed
when switches on
the remote con-
trol are pressed
(power indicator
is on).
*: When the remote control is installed on the wall opposite the receiver, the batteries may fully discharge before the battery LED
starts flashing.

Cause
Electricity is not supplied to power
outlet.
The power is turned off (power
indicator is not on).
The power plug is not connected to
the power outlet.
Voltage other than 120V is being
used.
Batteries in the remote control
have completely discharged. (Bat-

tery LED is on
)
Batteries are installed in the remote
control in the incorrect orientation
of polarity.
Remote control transmitter or re-
ceiver is dirty or wet.
A fluorescent light with inverter bal-
last is in use.
Remote control receiver is exposed
to direct sunlight.
Solution
Check for a power failure, tripper
breaker, etc.
Press the [Power] button and make
sure the power indicator on the seat
unit indicator section turns on.
Completely connect the power plug
to the outlet.
Wait about 10 seconds before re-
connecting the power plug.
Disconnect the power plug and have
®
the SpaLet
seat serviced
Replace with new batteries.
Insert the batteries in the correct
orientation.
Remove the dirt or water.
Turn off the light and try again.
If the SpaLet seat then operates
normally, there is no malfunction in
the product.
Take the necessary action to pre-
vent exposure to direct sunlight.
