Span calibration
Span calibrate to verify the span gas concentrations measured by the analyzer when
reference gas is flowing and, if necessary, calibrate them against the known reference gas.
Prerequisites
Run the analyzer at a stable temperature for at least 30 minutes prior to commencing this
procedure. Startup takes 90 minutes to achieve the required temperature.
Procedure
1. Use a certified reference gas cylinder as the source of the span calibration gas.
2. Make sure that a pressure regulator is connected to the reference gas bottle.
3. Connect a hose from the reference gas bottle, through a T-piece, to the sample
