On / Off Switch

A brief press switches the PA 1100 E on.
Hold the button pressed in to switch the device off.
A brief press when the machine is operating switches the outputs off
and on (Muting).
Please note the hints in the chapter „Automatic power down function"
on page 50.

Source selection

The listening sources can be selected directly with the buttons 1 to 5.
Press the appropriate button repeatedly until the desired source is
selected. The LEDs above the source selection buttons on the device
...
indicate which source is currently selected (see page 34).
The rocker can also be used for source selection. This rocker button
switches cyclically through all the sources available on the PA1100 E
in sequence. Tap on „plus" or „minus" repeatedly until the desired
source is selected.

Volume

Volume rocker.
A brief press performs a small volume step first to enable a fine and
precise volume control. It automatically switches to a continuous rota-
tion of the volume control if the remote control button is pressed for a
longer time.

Monitoring function

This button turns the monitoring function on and off during recording.

Tone control

• A brief press: Switches the tone control on and off.
• A long press: Switches the loudness function on and off.
Selects the oversampling type OVS 1 (FIR filter) or OVS 2 (Bezier filter)
when playing back PCM encoded audio data.

Favourites

By a long press on this button, unused sources can be deactivated.
A brief press reactivates the source. (see page 47)
