Playback

Analogue source

• If necessary, first reduce the set volume.
• Select the analog input to which you have connected the source device to be played using the source
selection buttons on the device or the remote control.
• As soon as the source device delivers music, the music signal will become audible.

Digital source

• If necessary, first reduce the set volume.
• Select the analog input to which you have connected the source device to be played using the source
selection buttons on the device or the remote control.
• As soon as the source device delivers digital music data, the PA 1100 E automatically adjusts itself to
the format and sampling rate of the signal, and you will hear the music.

Bluetooth

• If necessary, first reduce the set volume.
• Select the Bluetooth source by pressing the IN5/BT source button twice if necessary.
• In order to play music from a Bluetooth capable device via the PA 1100 E, the external device must first
be connected to the PA 1100 E.
• The PA 1100 E is ready for connection when the Bluetooth source LED flashes blue.
• If the Status indicator lights up solid blue instead of flashing blue, then the device is already connected.
If you wish to make a new connection with another device, the first step must always be to disconnect
the existing one.
• When the status indicator flashes blue, you can start the search for Bluetooth devices on your mobile
device.
• If the PA 1100 E is found, connect it to your mobile device.
• If the connection has been successfully established, the source LED changes from flashing blue to solid
blue.
• Playback can now be started on the mobile device.
• Some Bluetooth devices can also be controlled by the PA 1100 E's FM11 remote control. The operation
and behaviour of the connected device depends on the device itself. Usually the buttons on the FM11
remote control have the following functions:
For Bluetooth playback, the supplied antenna must be connected to the „BT" socket on the back of the device.

If your device requests a PIN code, this should always be '0000' .
The mobile device must support the A2DP Bluetooth audio transfer protocol if you wish to transfer Bluetooth
audio from a mobile device to the sound system.
