Important Notes Regarding Operators and the Work Area
WARNING
Never operate the machine when tired or
after ingesting alcohol or medications.
Operation requires appropriate judgment, and
impaired judgement can lead to unexpected in-
jury.
Conduct operations in a clean, brightly lit
location.
Working in a location that is dark or cluttered
can be hazardous. Operations in such locations
may cause an accident, such as tripping and
bumping into the machine.
Only touch or go near the machine when
necessary such as when setting the media
or operating the panel.
Otherwise, you may accidentally touch a dan-
gerous location on the machine or cause sud-
den operation or the like of the machine, which
may result in unexpected injury.
Do not touch the machine while it is in
operation.
If you do, your fingers or hand may get caught in
the machine, which may lead to serious injury.
When operating the machine, check that
there is no one nearby.
If there is, tell the person that the machine will
start operating in advance. Otherwise, sudden
operation or the like of the machine may cause
injury to people nearby.
CAUTION
Never attempt operation while wearing a
necktie, necklace, loose clothing, or the
like. Bind long hair securely.
Such items may become caught in the table or
lifter or other areas, resulting in injury.
Never climb or lean on the machine.
The machine is not made to support a person.
Climbing or leaning on the machine may cause
parts to break, resulting in injury.
