Installation
Roughly align the column again

Drill the anchor holes for the floor plate
i
It is possible to drill through the holes in the
floor plate (max drill bit diameter 10 mm)
This step is omitted if the column cannot be
screwed to the floor
Secure the base plate with four screws

Remove the upper transport grip from the col-
i
umn
Installing the cross-member with C-shaped
arm
Place the carton with cross-member and C-
i
shaped arm in front of the column
Remove the carton
i
Remove enough of the foam parts such that
the cross-member with C-shaped arm can be
taken out
Do not remove the protective film from the
column The protective film protects the col-
umn against damage during installation of the
cross-member with C-shaped arm
Mount the transport grips on the cross-mem-
i
ber

Detach the cable from the column slide in
i
front of the mounting face and reroute it to the
rear
Check to make sure that the mounting faces
i
on the cross-member and on the column slide
are clean and free of damage
Check all required threads for ease of move-
i
ment (refer to the next steps below)
During the following steps, maintain the
correct sequence when tightening the
screws
