Installation
Installing the column with column slide
Keep the column in the foam parts and lay it
i
down in front of the wall to position it
CAUTION
The unit could tip over and cause
injuries.
EN
Position the unit or secure it appropri-
i
US
ately such that it cannot tip over
Place some foam from the packaging under
i
the upper part of the column This will make it
easier to install the wall mounting bracket
Alternatively, the wall mounting bracket can
be attached to the standing column
As an alternative to the supplied wall
mounting bracket, it is also possible to
use a short wall mounting bracket (see
"33 Special accessories") This will move
the unit closer to the wall Take note of
any existing cable ducts etc when doing
this If the lower wall mounting bracket is
to be used as well, make sure this is in
fact the short wall mounting bracket
22
Attach the upper wall mounting bracket (refer
i
to the accessories carton) to the column
Make sure that the adjustable feet protrude
i
slightly from the floor plate This allows the
unit to be adjusted in all directions later on
If the adjustable feet do not protrude, then the
lower housing cover will need to be removed
(see "Removing the housing cover") so that
the adjustable feet can be screwed out
slightly
Set up the column with the aid of the trans-
i
port grips
Remove the foam parts
i
Remove the lower transport grip
i
If the column with the column slide cannot be
i
screwed to the floor (egin the case of under-
floor heating) or of the wall lacks the appropri-
ate strength, then the lower wall mounting
bracket also needs to be installed
