It is sensed by the oxygen sensor installed on
the exhaust manifold.

electrical signal received from the ignition

The ECM senses electric loads of the follow-
ing items to provide idle speed compensation.
a. Small, tail, side marker, license light.
b. Rear defogger (if equipped).
c. Heater fan.
