3 .5 Pneumatic chain tensioner

The purpose of the pneumatic chain tensioner is to attach and secure the chain in the correct operating position . It
also keeps the chain properly tensioned during grinding . The chain tensioner has two tensioner rolls for different
chain lengths .
Note: You can also order a telescopic chain extension kit if you need to fit longer chains . See section 8, "Accessories
and Spare Parts" .

Description
Where the tensioner slides up and down . The tensioner is moved
to fit chains of different lengths .
Gives flexibility to the tensioner .
Supplies the tensioner with pneumatic air .
Holds the pneumatic piston in place .
Allows the user to tension or release the chain faster than if the
locking handle is used (quick release function) .
Allows the chain to move when it is sharpened . For long chains .
Protects the user from pinch injuries .
Allows the chain to move when it is sharpened . For short chains .
Locks the tensioner in place .
Guides the upper tensioner roll .
