RAIL PRESSURE SENSOR
The rail pressure sensor is mounted on the common rail and is used to measure the rail pressure. The EMS
ECU determines the optimum fuel injection quantity at specific engine condition based on rail pressure
sensor
NORMAL OPERATION
Ignition ON
EMS ECU receives an output voltage signal from rail pressure
sensor and is within the range.
DTC DETECTING CONDITIONS
Ignition ON
EMS ECU supply voltage 8-16V
The output voltage signal received from the rail pressure
sensor is below the minimum limit
DTC REACTIONS
OBD check lamp continuously ON
Engine switches off
HEALING CONDITION
Ignition Off/On
