COOLING FAN HIGH SPEED
The cooling fans are controlled by EMS ECU . Both the fans run either at low speed or at high speed.
The high speed of the cooling fans are controlled by change over relay and cooling fan relay 2 . Based on
the coolant temperature the EMS ECU controls the by change over relay and cooling fan relay 2 to
activate the high speed of the fans. Fans are ON at high speed if the coolant temperature reaches 102 °C
.
NORMAL OPERATION

Ignition ON

Depending upon the coolant temperature , the EMS ECU
switches ON the high speed cooling fan

No malfunction detected by EMS ECU in the control circuit
of change over relay and cooling fan relay 2
DTC DETECTING CONDITIONS

Ignition ON

EMS ECU supply voltage 8-16V

Short to battery is detected in in the control circuit of
change over relay and cooling fan relay 2
DTC REACTIONS

Fans will not work at high speed


Ignition Off/On
