EGR MODULATOR

EGR modulator controls the EGR valve . EMS ECU converts the air control output into duty cycle and
outputs a PWM signal to EGR modulator
NORMAL OPERATION
Ignition ON
No error detected in EGR control circuit during self check
Engine runs as per the EGR mapping
DTC DETECTING CONDITIONS
Ignition ON
EMS ECU supply voltage 8-16V
Short to battery in EGR modulator control circuit
DTC REACTIONS
OBD check lamp continuously ON.
EGR Switches OFF.
HEALING CONDITION
Ignition Off/On
