SIGNAL RANGE CHECK FOR HFM TEMPERATURE SENSOR BELOW MINIMUM LIMIT

AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR
The HFM temperature sensor is a variable resistor whose resistance changes as the temperature of the air
flowing past the sensor changes.(NTC resistor) When the intake air temperature is low, the sensor
resistance is high; when the intake air temperature is high, the sensor resistance is low.
NORMAL OPERATION
Ignition ON
The measured output voltage value of the intake air
temperature sensor is within the specified range.
DTC DETECTING CONDITIONS
Ignition ON
EMS ECU supply voltage 8-16V
The measured output voltage of the intake air temperature
sensor is less than the minimum range
DTC REACTIONS
OBD check lamp continuously ON
Engine will run with default air temperature as 20°C
HEALING CONDITION
Ignition Off/On
