ACCELERATOR PEDAL PLAUSIBILITY

The Accelerator pedal module (APM) is mounted in place of accelerator pedal and is connected to the ECU
by wires. The function checks both the acceleration pedal signals for plausibility and makes the test result.
The ECU also checks the ratio of both the signals. If the difference between both the signals goes
beyond the maximum range then it is taken as a failure
NORMAL OPERATION
Ignition ON
During Ignition ON, EMS ECU compares both APP1 and APP2
signals and the difference is within the maximum range.
DTC DETECTING CONDITIONS
Ignition ON
EMS ECU supply voltage 8-16V
The difference between APP1 and APP2 signals are more than
the maximum range
DTC REACTIONS
OBD check lamp continuously ON
Engine rpm limited to 1200 .Vehicle in limp home mode
HEALING CONDITION
Ignition Off/On
