ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Hydraulic Installation

1. Install the hydraulic manifolds at the center and rear
of the center frame to the mounts welded to the
frames using ½ x 3-1/2 bolts and lock nuts

ports are for the fold system, the middle two are for
the lift system, and the bottom two are for the
adjustable gangs.
NOTE
The top port of each set is designated to go to the
base ends of the appropriate cylinders.
2. Install fittings and relief valve onto the center frame
lift cylinders as shown in
7550-40', See Figure
Install 90 degree regular adapter fittings in both rod
and base ends of all wing lift cylinders that are
assembled to the frame.
3. The front fold cylinders are mounted with the ports
facing the rear, and the rear fold cylinders are
mounted with the ports facing the front. Attach the
base end of the 4-1/2 x 30 fold cylinders to the fold
cylinder mounts on the center frame with the pins
and roll pins provided. There will be two plates
inside of the large fold mounts that need to be on
each side of the cylinder base. Attach the 4 x 30
cylinders to the inner wings using the pins provided.
The base end on the 7550-40 will be between the
two plates at the hinge weldment, and the 7550-45
will be at a separate 1" thick fold mount. The fold
cylinders come with the fittings supplied already
installed and should have a regular 90 degree fitting
on the base end and a black 90 degree restricted
fitting on the rod end. For both the 7550-40/45
remove the base end 90 degree fitting from the
front left inner wing fold (4-1/2 x 30) and install a
straight o-ring to tube adapter, and on the base end
of all the outer wing fold cylinders (4 x 30) remove
the normal 90 degree fitting and replace with an
extra long 90 degree fitting

NOTE
Rod ends of fold cylinders need to be left
unassembled and propped up until fold hydraulic
system is fully charged with oil to prevent machine
damage when folding the first time.

fittings: The left master base end on the center
frame requires a tee fitting and the rest of the ports
on the center frame cylinders are regular 90 degree
fittings. All wing gang cylinders require regular 90
degree fittings on both ends, except the outer rear
gang rod end. Install a black 90 degree 1/16
restrictor fitting in these two locations

Restrictors are installed to prevent uncontrolled
dropping of wings. Removal of these restrictors,
or improper installation can result in serious
damage to the implement.
5. Remove the plugs from the top of the leveler
cylinder (4x8), located in the center of the machine
inside of the self leveler, and install red 1/32"
restrictor 90 degree fittings into it with the ports
facing to the left side
6. At the rear of the hitch
(Double Pilot Operated Check Valve) with 3/8 x 2"
bolts and lock nuts onto the hose clamp. Install the
valve with the V1/V2 ports facing the tractor and the
C1/C2 Ports facing the rear. Install straight o-ring
adapter fittings into each of the 4 outlets. When
plumbing the hydraulic disc gangs, it does not
matter which hose goes to C1/C2 or V1/V2 (
) just so they are facing the correct
