ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Wing Frame Outer
1. Place the lt and rt outer wing frame assemblies on
stands so the wings are level with the inner wing
frames
(See Figure 3-8.
2. Install the 1-3/4 pin w/snap rings in bottom hole of
inner wing hinge.
3. Install the double hinge weldment to inner wing using
1-3/4 hinge pin, 1/2 x 2-1/4 grooved piins and 1-1/4-7
lock nuts, Place a 1-3/4 thrust washer on the rear
side of both front and rear double hinges
4. Install the fold links over the welded bushing at the
bottom of the double hinge on both sides. Install the
wing fold space bushing (4-5/16" long) and secure
with 1-8 x 6-1/2 hex bolt and 1-8 lock nut.
5. Place 1-3/4 thrust washers on front side of both
double hinge weldments at the bottom pivot.
Assemble the outer wing with 1-3/4 hinge pins, 1/2 x
2-1/4 grooved pins and 1-1/4-7 lock nuts.

6. Install the 1-3/4 pin, w/snap ring, gang shaft washer
through slot and outer hole of outer wing hinge.
Secure with two 1-3/4" snap rings.
7. Attach the tire/wheel assembly to all 8 bolt hub &
spindle assemblies with 5/8 wheel nut. Torque to 85
to 100 ft./lbs.
NOTE
All tire/wheel assemblies are installed with the valve
stem facing outward.
8. Attach the front gauge wheel assemblies to the wing
frames using 1-8 x 6 hex bolts supplied with the
assembly, gauge wheel spacers, and 1-8 hex lock
nuts. Securely tighten the mounting screws to
eliminate any slack and unnecessary wear.
9. Install the 280/70R15 tire/wheel assemblies. Torque
to 85 to 100 ft-lbs.
